A team member dies in the 'set' of filming 'GI Joe 2'

The filming of GI Joe 2: Retaliation has resulted in a tragedy. As confirmed by Paramount Pictures, a member of film crew died after an accident that occurred during the recording being done in Louisiana.

The study gave no details of the death of team member, whose name is Mike Huber , who according to reports in various local media occurred on Tuesday in New Orleans while he was dismantling a September of shooting.

"Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the Huber family," he said in a statement Paramount Pictures spokeswoman Virginia Lam .

"The safety of our cast and crew is our top priority and the study is cooperating fully with all investigative agencies are examining the circumstances surrounding this unusual accident, "he said.

It is expected that the movie GI Joe 2: Retaliation , directed by Jon Chu and starring Bruce Willis , Channing Tatum , Dwayne Johnson and Adrianne Palicki , is released next year.

The film is the sequel to GI Joe , which premiered in 2009 and scored a blockbuster.
